1. Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to MayoLynx, using the MayoLynx dashboard at mayolynx.com, installing the MayoLynx Rust plugin, or using the MayoLynx mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not subscribe or use our services.
These terms apply to server owners who subscribe to the MayoLynx service. End-user players who use the mobile application are governed by the separate App Store / Google Play terms presented in the app.
2. The MayoLynx Service
MayoLynx is a software-as-a-service product that connects a Rust game server to a mobile companion application. The service includes:
- Hosting of the MayoLynx backend (servers receive heartbeats, push notifications dispatch, chat relay).
- The MayoLynx.cs Oxide plugin and its updates.
- The MayoLynx mobile application available on supported app stores.
- The dashboard at mayolynx.com for managing servers, branding, wipe schedules, and admin actions.
The service is delivered as a recurring subscription. You install the plugin on your own Rust server; we operate the backend and the app.
3. Subscription & Pricing
MayoLynx is sold on a recurring monthly basis:
- Base subscription — $15.00 USD / month. Includes one server slot, full plugin features, and dashboard access.
- Additional server slots — $5.00 USD / month each. Each addon adds one more server you can register on the dashboard.
Subscriptions auto-renew through your chosen payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) until you cancel. Each addon is its own subscription and can be canceled independently. Prices may change with at least 30 days' written notice via email or your dashboard.
4. Refund Policy
Because access to the MayoLynx backend, plugin, and app begins immediately upon payment, all sales are non-refundable. This applies to:
- Initial base subscription payments.
- Additional server slot subscriptions.
- Renewals of any kind.
- Time after cancellation that you choose not to use.
If you cancel mid-cycle, your access remains until the end of the period you've already paid for. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
5. Cancellation & Server Deletion
You may cancel any subscription at any time through your billing portal (Stripe Customer Portal or PayPal account). Cancellations are also triggered by clicking "Delete Server" on the dashboard.
When the base subscription ends, all of your registered servers are removed from the service immediately upon Stripe or PayPal notifying us of the cancellation. Add-on cancellations remove the specific server they were paying for.
Once a server is removed, its data is permanently deleted. We do not retain backups of server configuration, member lists, or chat history beyond the active subscription period.
6. Service Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the MayoLynx backend, dashboard, and mobile app available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uptime. The service may go offline for scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. Extended downtime does not entitle you to refunds, account credits, or compensation of any kind.
Apple App Store and Google Play app distribution and review timelines are outside our control. New plugin or app versions may be subject to platform review.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use MayoLynx only for legitimate Rust server administration. You may not:
- Use MayoLynx in connection with servers that violate Facepunch's Rust server rules or community guidelines.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the MayoLynx plugin, mobile app, or backend access.
- Use the API, plugin, or backend to harass, dox, surveil, or harm players or other administrators.
- Bypass or attempt to bypass the slot limits, billing system, or authentication mechanisms.
Violations of acceptable use may result in immediate termination of your subscription and removal of your servers without refund.
8. Plugin & Code License
The MayoLynx.cs plugin is provided to active subscribers for installation on their own Rust servers under a non-transferable, non-exclusive license. The plugin remains the intellectual property of MayoLynx and may not be redistributed, modified, or used outside an active subscription.
9. Data & Privacy
Using MayoLynx means we process the following data: your Steam ID and display name, the Steam IDs of your linked players, in-game chat messages relayed through the app, server status data (player count, map, hostname), Discord IDs (if you link Discord), and payment information processed by Stripe or PayPal (we never store full card numbers).
End-user players who download the mobile app and link to your server are subject to the app's privacy policy as presented on the App Store. As a server owner you are responsible for any disclosure required by your local laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) regarding your players' data being relayed through MayoLynx.
10. End-User App Store Terms
The MayoLynx mobile application is distributed through the Apple App Store (and, in the future, the Google Play Store). Use of the app by your players is governed by the terms presented at install time on the platform. These Server Owner Terms cover only your relationship with MayoLynx as a paying subscriber.
11. Termination by Us
MayoLynx reserves the right to suspend or terminate any subscription at our sole discretion if we believe your usage harms our service, our infrastructure, our other customers, or violates these terms. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers and posted on the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
